Kareem Elevated uses his experience as a spoken word artist to creatively integrate educational knowledge into his work. Kareem brings over two decades of performance experience across the country, impacting youth and adults of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
Kareem's passion for faith, social justice, music and poetry stems from his background growing up in the Crenshaw District of Los Angeles, California, navigating life in a poor working-class, single-parent household. Despite these conditions he continued to excel academically and professionally. From a personal story of hardship, pain, and abuse yet finding peace and success that has led to his life transformation, Kareem inspires people to achieve their dreams.
